Your portraits live on your phone, not on a server. Your ultrasound and parent photos are held only for the seconds it takes to create the portrait, then discarded. You are never asked for your name.
An anonymous account identifier created by Firebase Authentication. The answers you give during onboarding, such as your trimester and whether you know the sex. Metadata about each portrait: when it was made, what kind it was, whether it succeeded, and the filename your device saved it under. Your purchase history through RevenueCat. Usage and installation analytics through Firebase Analytics and Tenjin. If you contact support, the email address and message you send.
Uploaded ultrasound and parent photographs are held in memory only for the duration of the render. They are never written to disk or to a database. The finished portrait is stored briefly so your phone can download it, and is deleted as soon as your device confirms it has a copy — and in any case within 24 hours. Your name, address and date of birth are never requested.
Your images are processed to perform the service you asked for. Where an image reveals information about health or pregnancy, the basis is your explicit consent, given by uploading it and withdrawn by stopping use of the app. Analytics rests on a legitimate interest in understanding how the app is used.
Google Firebase for authentication, analytics and remote configuration. Google Gemini for producing the portrait. RevenueCat for purchases and your credit balance. Tenjin for install attribution. Apple for payments. Each handles data under its own terms and only as needed for these functions.
Source photographs: not stored at all. Finished portraits: until your device confirms delivery, and at most 24 hours. Portrait metadata and credit records: for as long as you use the app, then up to 12 months. Support messages: 24 months, so we can follow up on an earlier conversation.
Depending on where you live, you may ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. Delete my scans in Settings removes your portrait history. To have everything erased, use the support page. Because accounts are anonymous, some information from the app may be needed to find your records.
The app is for adults. It is not directed at children and data is not knowingly collected from them.
The providers listed above may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
If this policy changes materially you will be told in the app.
Use the support page, or open Settings and tap Contact support in the app.
